Commemorating the Martyrdom of Imam Musa Kazim (a.s.) 183 A.H. The end of the month of Rajab marks the death anniversary of the 7th Divinely appointed leader of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), namely Imam Musa ibne Jafar – better known as al-Kadhim or one who swallows his anger (for the pleasure of Allah). Born in Madina on the seventh of the month of Safar, he is the only Imam whose birth anniversary is not marked on the day when it took place – because of the fact that it falls during the time of Azadari for Imam Husain (Peace be upon him).
